Basic requirements

One of the generals needs to be capable of defeating 1 enemy general with 1 tactic, and capture 1 city with only 1 row. Recommended generals: Darius and Rannel (or other low level generals like Grandmark)

Operation

Easy

You can use at most 2 phantoms, so what you need to do is to make good use of the “Rush” function. First, use Darius to fight all away to Red Rock Plain. Don’t use rush during the process. Then put Rannel in West Stone Temple and release 2 phantoms. Now, Darius rush to Stone Temple and wait until the defense has only 1 row left and make another general rush to Stone Temple. Use manual instead of auto mode in battle, because you need to make sure that the battle in West Stone Temple hasn’t ended before your generals capture Stone Temple. Otherwise, you won’t get the time bonus for using rush.

Normal

You can release at most 3 phantoms; still not enough to get sufficient time bonus. But since this time there are 2 enemy generals in West Stone Temple, you can use other generals to replace Rannel, as long as you won’t finish the battle in West Stone Temple before Stone Temple.

Hard

It’s even easier than normal difficulty because you can use 5 phantoms. You can get bonus time with phantoms, but using the rush function will make you clear the stage 1 second faster if you can control the pace. You can follow the same steps as in the easy difficulty stage, and whether to duel or not in Stone Temple is up to you -- normally there’s not much difference.

Save the Prince

Save the prince

Saving the Prince is quite easy, the enemy generals you’ll face are only Lv 62 and come equipped with 2,800 soldiers each. So here we offer a basic introduction and discuss which tactics are most effective in this scenario.

Easy:

Best route: East Moat -->North Gate -->Eastern District

There are 3 NPCs in each city.

Normal:

Best route: East Moat(4 NPCs) -->North Gate(4 NPCs) -->Eastern District(6 NPCs) -->Imperial Palace

Don’t rush to finish the campaign after capturing the Eastern District. Instead, go to the Imperial Palace for the extra 2 minute time bonus.

Hard:

Best route: East Moat(5 NPCs) -->North Gate(4 NPCs) -->Eastern District(6 NPCs) -->Imperial Palace

First you need to choose to open the prison and free the royal guards so that the guards will help you to fight in the Eastern District.

Save the Prince2

You can then fight all the way to the Imperial Palace to earn a time bonus.

Expert:

Best route: East Moat(5 NPCs) -->North Gate(5 NPCs) -->Eastern District(6 NPCs) -->Imperial Palace(2 NPCs)

You will also need to capture Imperial Palace to win the bonus time.

Hellhound

Hellhound

For those who have more than 20 phantoms

Recommended generals: Aken, Servius, Solveig, Leofric, Harold, Ludovic, Noella

Route: Outskirts Barracks-->South Flats-->Border Outpost-->Mount Torment-->Shadow Mountain-->Winterton

There are 2 enemy generals in the Outskirts Barracks. You can first let Aken enter it and defeat one of the enemy generals so that other generals can rush.

Then move Servius, Solveig, or Leofric to South Flats and release 3 phantoms.

Border Outpost has 9 enemy generals, so you’d better rush 3 generals into it, release at least 10 phantoms of an anti-tactic general, then make a duel, and rush.

There are 4 enemy generals at Mount Torment. You may need generals who have talent in mountain battles, for example: Harold and Ludovic. Release at least 5 phantoms of Harold or Ludovic and summon other 3 generals, 2 for duel and 1 for rush. Rush a general to Shadow Mountain, Noella maybe a wise choice, and release 3 phantoms, so that other generals can rush to Winterton.

Tips: for every 2 rushes you can get a 1 minute extension to complete the mission; when you release more than 5 phantoms, you get a 1 minute bonus time and another 1 minute if you release more than 10. You’ll have an 8 minute time limit and all enemy generals are Lv 71.

For those who want to release less than 20 phantoms

First, you can move Aken to the Outskirts Barracks and then Servius, Solveig, or Leofric.

Then let your generals rush to the Outpost. There will be an event at the Outpost, you can let Aken deal with it to save time. After that, there will be Route Expeditionary coalition troops helping you at South Flats, North Flats and Mount Torment.

Now you can take advantage of your alliances to rush all the way to the Border Outpost and release at least 10 phantoms. You can also start some duels to clear the city faster.

Additionally, there will be another event at the South Flats. You can get a 2 minutes extension or get another helper. Choose “This puny spell can’t stop us!” to win 2 minutes. Because you’ve got enough allied troops, what you need the most is more time.

Hellhound2

After you occupying the Border Outpost, enemies at Mount Torment are almost finished by your allies. So, you go directly to Fort Torment. Noella enters first and you can release 3 phantoms, then other generals can rush to Winterton. Another choice: When attacking the Border Outpost, you can also make Noella rush to Mount Torment and then Fort Torment (And release 2 phantoms there). When the battle at Border Outpost comes to an end, you can go directly to Winterton.

Absolute Power

Absolute Power

First let’s have a look at the NPCs. Most of them are Lv 75 legions and Lv 80 generals (easy)/Lv 100 generals (normal or higher). If you have Cleric's Armor and Aken, then everything will be relatively easy.

There are five forces in total:

Pellier Regions (starting point on the left)

Niward Regions (upper left)

Essel Regions (lower left)+Galvius

Sayer Regions (upper right)+Rogenor

Jeasson Regions (lower right)+Nadric

The enemy generals are all Lv 100 (except for those in the easy level). What you need to do is to avoid fighting them. The recommended route can be applied to all difficulty levels. The dragon egg is at Vettel City and legions there can be easily defeated. Then, there will be options about the dragon egg. Whoever gets the dragon egg will attract everyone’s attention – so that’s why you need to think about whether to keep it in your hands or give it to others first.

Easy

Nothing challenging. After obtaining the dragon egg, go directly to Mereshire. All forces will run after you, so try to be quick by “rushing”.

Normal

Now you may have options about the dragon egg. You can either keep it in your hands or give it to Niward or Essel. Since all forces will chase the one with the egg you will find yourself surrounded by several Lv 100 enemies unless you give the egg to another general. Here, we suggest you to give the dragon egg to Essel. Then rush to Manticore City South. There will be an event about Lulland, you can use only one general to deal with him.

Absolute Power-normal

We then follow Rogenor and Nadric when they leave Fairview. After that, move to Fairview East and Eldon. There are a lot of enemies in Eldon, so you can first move one general in and release a phantom, then move the other three and start duels. After that, move one general to Mereshire and the other three to the Essel Barracks. When you have taken Mereshire the Essel legions will be almost finished. The first two are Tactical Essel Legions; they are difficult to beat. But once you have defeated them, you will find the rest are very weak. You can now finish the campaign and get the rewards. If you pass the normal difficulty of this campaign with five stars, then the other three won’t be a problem.

Hard

In the hard level, you will have three options for managing the dragon egg. The best option is to give the egg to Sayer. You then follow the Niward Legions and watch them fight all the cities for you. You step in when they leave and rush to Eldon. Here, you can do the same as in the normal difficulty level -- release phantoms and make duels. Let Aken follow Niward Legions and capture the cities with no effort. You can choose to cleanse the Temple to win some time, but there will also be some bandits that appear at Clawmark City. Like in the normal difficulty level, you can first capture Mereshire and then capture Sayer Barracks to get the dragon egg.

Absolute Power-hard

Expert

You will have four options for managing the dragon egg. You can give the egg to Jeasson. After that, you will find it extremely easy to capture Eldon. Then follow the Niward Legions and spread your troops at Eldon, Mereshire, and the others to Harvey City. There will be an event there that adds 2 more minutes to your attempt. Get your dragon egg at the Jeasson Camp. Finally finish fighting Mereshire and win the campaign.

Absolute Power-expert

Master

Master level difficulty is not much harder than the previous one. You can follow the same directions as before.

To sum it all up, Absolute Power is a campaign that needs you to be patient. You need to take advantage of the other forces and sometimes wait for thirty seconds or longer. If you rush to Manticore City East when fighting at Vettel City, don’t be scared by those Elite Legions because they will disappear once you decide who has the dragon egg. Aken with Cleric's Armor is quite powerful and can finish the legions in only one second. As always, remember that you need to avoid fighting with those Lv 100 generals.

Breakout (Master Level)

Breakout

Recommended level

At least Lv 86 and have finished researching the technology “Enhanced Rush”.

Recommended generals

Harold, Noella, Aken, and Servius. Equip Harold or Aken with Cleric's Armor, Servius with 3 pieces of “Armor” equipment, 2 “Defense” and 1 “Control”.

Recommended route

City --> Northrule --> Southern Outskirts --> Southmount --> Eastmount --> Northern Plains --> Ice Bear Fort

Meanwhile, you need to occupy the Northern Outskirts during the process.

How to use your generals

Harold’s tactic is really powerful and he can finish a whole troop within one second. If you will release phantoms, release his phantoms instead of others. Use Aken and Noella to get into some duels. By doing so, you can reduce the number of phantoms needed. Servius can deal with the event in the Northern Outskirts.

When moving your generals, let Harold enter a city first and then Aken and Noella.

How to use fewer phantoms

When there are no more than 3 enemy generals, you can release only one phantom. Harold can finish a general and release a phantom, and Aken/Noella finish another, then others enter the city and rush to the next. If there are more than 4 enemy generals, the number of phantoms you release can be (n-3)*2 (n=the number of enemy generals). But this strategy cannot be applied to Northern Outskirts or Icefort.

Events

There are 4 events in this campaign, one in Northern Outskirts, two in Icefort and the other one in Icefort Docks. These events can give you 3~4 minutes bonus time.

Northern Outskirts:

Let Servius enter this city and release 2 phantoms. Then you leave it alone. Servius can go to other cities after fighting once here in the Northern Outskirts. His phantoms can finish the enemy generals there. The time limit in this campaign is 9 min, so if you choose to deal with the event within the first 3 min, then actually you will get less than 3 min bonus time. Then when you need more time to keep the 5-star rating, let Servius deal with General Perron.

Icefort:

When you are fighting Jeasson’s Troops in the Southmount, don’t rush to Eastmount. Instead, go to Icefort to complete the events there. Otherwise, there will be waves of reinforcements in the Northern Plains, and it’s nearly impossible to get through.

First, let Harold enter the city and release 4 phantoms, then Aken, Noella and Servius follow Harold and get into some duels. When Harold uses up all his soldiers, send him to Eastmount and release phantoms. Also, when the other 3 generals finish their duels, retreat to the Southmount for recruiting, and go directly to the Eastmount and duel. When the battle in the Icefort comes to an end, let Servius handle it.

Icefort Docks:

If you find yourself short on time, then this event can be ignored. But later on, when your generals are of very high levels, you can separate your troops and have a fight in the Icefort Docks.

Chaotic Situation

Chaotic situation

First you need to be at least Lv 83 in order to unlock this campaign. Then, for easy difficulty, you should just fight all the way to the destination without even paying any attention to the Lumber City. You can choose whichever route you like, because it’s quite easy.In normal and hard levels, it’s best to follow the recommended route. There will be Aslak (Lv 90) at Marshfort, so remember to talk with her, she can help you attack Lumber City. On expert level, you may need to release 25 phantoms in order to win the bonus time.

ChaoticSituation normal

The master level difficulty requires a bit more consideration and planning. If you haven’t researched the “Rush” technology, you may find it even more difficult. Instead of following the recommended route, you may find it necessary to separate your forces in three directions. First, move one general to the West Southbank, ask Aslak to help you when passing Marshfort, and release several phantoms in the West Southbank. Your other generals may go to the North Barracks, or you can let one general enter first and release several phantoms there and let the other generals wait. You will have enough free phantoms and need to release at least 25 of them in order to win enough bonus time, so just feel free to use them. When Aslak has finished her first battle, ask her to fight again. There will be another NPC event in the Dreamhall -- click on it to send all the assisting troops to Fort Yeshman. With friendly forces at both Fort Yeshman and Lumber City, you can let your troops rush back and forth between the two cities until you’ve got the one minute bonus time for ten rushes. Then rush to the Oddnest. There you can finish all the enemy troops in Fort Yeshman immediately.

ChaoticSituation normal2
ChaoticSituation master-rush time bonus

Now you should have occupied the West Southbank or even the West Wilderness. Your next step is to occupy West Clearwater and then there will be friendly forces in each of the cities neighboring Clearwater. Send the friendly force to West Clearwater and let one of your generals follow them. Release several phantoms and send the other generals to the Westesrn and Eastern Plains. You can use the same strategy in both cities -- let one general enter first and release several phantoms. Then you can have three assisting generals to help your efforts in Clearwater. You can have your generals duel with the Yenshire Armies repeatedly, which saves a lot of time. If you still find it hard to get five stars, there’s one more event that can give you bonus time. When Aslak has finished her second battle, she will return to Marshfort. Let one of your generals visit her again and then you’ll get one more minute to complete your task.

Fallen Lion

Fallen lion1
Fallen lion2

In this campaign, you need to choose different routes for different difficulties. The enemy troops are not very strong, so phantoms are used only to increase the number of waiting troops.

Here are the two recommended routes:
Route 1:
Drizzle City --> Eldon Trial --> Eldon --> Cowfort City --> Silent Corner
Route 2:
Viperton --> Outskirt Trials --> Outskirts of Cowfort City --> Ancient Track --> Eastern Outskirts of Cowfort City --> Mountains Outside the City --> Valleyhorn City --> Silent Corner

In the easy and normal levels, you can choose either way, but Route 1 may be quicker.
But in the hard level, Route 2 is recommended because there will be 32 troops waiting at Eldon. It’s a waste of time to fight them.

Recommended generals are Servius with Ancient Armor, Galvius with Cleric's Armor, Nadric and Silas.

Step 1: Let Silas enter Drizzle City and release a phantom. Then Nadric and Galvius start some duels.
Step 2: Move Servius to Viperton. There are 3 enemy generals. So release one phantom here and summon Galvius (he should have finished his duel at Drizzle City) and start a duel.
Step 3: After the duel, let Nadric retreat to Viperton (or if your generals are of high levels, the city may have already been occupied). Rush to Outskirt Trials and release 1 phantom. Then Galvius enters and start a duel.
Step 4: Now Silas should have finished his battle in Drizzle City, so let the NPC general help slow down the pace of the enemy troops. It’s quite important to deal with this event as soon as you possibly can.
Step 5: Gather your troops to Outskirt Trials and let Silas rush to the Outskirts of Cowfort City. Just like before, release 1 phantom and Silas and Galvius start duels.
Step 6: After you have occupied the Outskirt Trails, the event there will give you bonus time. Your next step is the Outskirts of Cowfort City. Remember to let 1 general in and release 1 phantom, then the other 2 follow and start duels.
Step 7: There is a hidden event at the Outskirts of Cowfort City. It will clear the mountains outside the city for you, so you don’t need to send any general there. Now send your generals to the Ancient Track and rush to the Eastern Outskirts of Cowfort City.

The following steps are different for hard, expert and master levels.

Hard Level
Step 8: Gather all your troops at the Eastern Outskirts of Cowfort City and deal with the event there. There will be assisting troops attacking Cowfort City.
Step 9: Send your generals to Cowfort City and rush immediately to the Silent Corner.
Step 10: This step is crucial. Release at least 1 phantom, if you need more time, then release 5 in total to win the bonus time. Then you start duels, but make sure that Rogenor’s has more troops than Jeasson, otherwise Jeasson will occupy the Silent Corner instead of you. Now, you only need to wait for Jeasson’s troops to finish off most of the enemies for you.

Expert Level
There will be tons of enemies at Cowfort City, so it’s best to change your route.
Step 8: Release 1 of Servius’s phantom at the Eastern Outskirts of Cowfort City and summon the other generals. Then, retreat to the Mountains outside the city. Let Silas fight Eldon and others follow along and rush Valleyhorn City.
Step 9: After occupying Eldon, Mannor will go towards Shadowhall North. Then send Servius to Shadowhall North and release 2 phantoms. The other generals enter to start duels and rush to the Silent Corner.

Master Level
There are two more events in the master level, one is in Shadowhall North and the other at Cowfort City. You need to figure out how to deal with tons of legions in the Silent Corner.
Step 8: Send a general to Eldon and Galvius to start a duel. The other 2 generals can go to Cowfort City and start duels, then retreat to Eldon for duels.
Step 9: Pay attention to Cowfort City, because you have to deal with the event there before occupying Valleyhorn City. After the reinforcements arrive, you need to hold on for another 1 and a half minute (use more phantoms) to keep the enemies in the Cowfort City.
Step 10: Move all your generals to Valleyhorn City and occupy it ASAP, and then Shadowhall North. Then Jeasson’s legions can no longer come across the valley.

A Trail full of Thorns

A trial full of thorns

Key tactics:
1. Try to use generals that have talents.

2. If you can use Galvius, then have him rush to a city first and release a phantom, doing so can save a lot of time. Tip: you may find that Cleric's Armor suits him best.

3. You can ignore the events on the road at first and get back to them when you are close to victory.

The convoy’s route is predetermined, so you have no choice but choose the same route. Fort Barren is one city that is a vital stronghold of a successful campaign. But there are 1~2 Lv 100 Elite Guards here which are nearly impossible to pass. The only way to occupy the city before the convoy gets there is to defeat the NPC at the North Barrens first. You need to release enough phantoms in the Fort Barren and rush. When you defeat the NPC at the North Barrens, everything will become much easier.

For those whose generals are not strong enough, you can dispatch one general to rush one city and release a phantom, and then summon others to start duels and rush again.

When you finally make it to the Fort Serenity, you can separate your force and get some bonus time by defeating the NPCs.

In the hard level setting and above, there will be enemy troops chasing after you. But unless you waste too much time on one city, they should never catch up. And when you defeat the last NPC, all the pursuing enemy troops will disperse.

Disputes (Master Level)

Disputes

This campaign has a more complicated map in comparison to others. however, once you know which fortresses have events that can help shorten battle time and increase your generals’ strength, the route to success becomes clear.

First, occupy the Eastern Plains and then the Outwater Barracks. Nabalus will appear there, you can either choose to kill him right away to get bonus time or spare him and increase your burn range. Meanwhile, you can separate your troops and march on in two different directions, one brigade to the west and the other to the east. If your generals are strong enough, then each city will require only one general and can release some phantoms too. Afterwards march towards Riverton where General Chancery can help to slow down Jeasson troops ( but you will need to keep fighting for 3 min in this case, so be careful when choosing which general to fight). After occupying both the Jeasson Eastwater and Westwater, you can choose either to advance on the Jeasson Barracks via the Jeasson East Barracks or the West Barracks. If you still have phantoms you could also consider a rush on Canyon, which could save you some time as Jeasson will try to escape and flee to that fortress. Now, let’s take a closer look at each fortress.

Eastern Plains

You need a tactic general here. Have him go in first and release a phantom, then summon two others to start duels.

Western Outpost

After occupying the Eastern Plains, dispatch one general to go to the Western Outpost first and release 1 to 2 phantoms. After-which summon another for duels. Assign a general to rush the Jeasson Westwater, where there are 18 enemy generals. You can choose fight then or leave them for later, as there is a relative event which can help reduce enemy numbers.

You can do the same with the other route from Outwater Barracks to Jeasson Eastwater. Then when all 4 of your generals are in idle status, it’s time for the events.

First, go back to Outwater Barracks and decide whether or not to kill Nabalus. It is suggested that if you still have enough time left, choose to keep Nabalus. Then another NPC will appear on the Outskirts of Main Camp, send one general there to talk to the NPC.

Disputes event

At the same time, occupy Riverton and West Longwater. Leave only one general in West Longwater and send the others to the Jeasson Fortress and start the 3 min defense at West Longwater. You will need to release more phantoms here because enemy reinforcement will come once in a while. A successful defense here will help to increase your combat rating during the campaign, and as such you will find it easier when fighting with Jeasson Legions in his Barracks.

After occupying the Jeasson Fortress, you can see two hidden events at both Easternwater and Westernwater. You can set fire to the fortresses so that they can be taken within seconds.

Now you can easily get to the Jeasson Barracks and defeat the guards there to fight with Jeasson’s Legion. He will try to escape to the Canyon, so you’d better send one general there in advance to clear the enemies and save some time.

Surrounded Fortress

This campaign is relatively complicated because you need to be really careful not to let the pursuers get Jeasson.

Easy

Your route: Jeasson Camp --> Welland North Flats --> Welland North --> Western Bridge --> (Kingsbridge North)

Jeasson’s route: Stonemouth --> Blackdragon Nest --> Kingsbridge --> Kingsbridge North --> Western Bridge --> Welland North --> Welland North Flats --> Jeasson Camp

The easy level of this campaign only requires that you be as quick as you can. Your top priority is to occupy Welland North Flats, where the messenger is. You’d better leave one general there, because you need to be really quick when the messenger count-down is over as the pursuers are always very close to Jeasson.

Normal

Your route: Jeasson Camp --> Welland North Flats --> Welland North --> Shadow Bridge --> Six Peaks --> Six Peaks Plains --> Kingsbridge East

Jeasson’s route:  Stonemouth --> Blackdragon Nest --> Kingsbridge --> Kingsbridge North --> Western Bridge --> Six Peaks

Leave only one general at Welland North Flats and dispatch the others to rush Welland North, then send one general to Welland West to complete the event there.

If you need extra time, rush 2 times to get an extra 1 minute or you can release 5 phantoms.

Hard

Your route: Jeasson Camp --> Welland North Flats --> Welland North --> Shadow Bridge --> Six Peaks --> Six Peaks Plains --> Kingsbridge East

Jeasson’s route:  Stonemouth --> Blackdragon Nest --> Kingsbridge --> Kingsbridge North --> Western Bridge --> Six Peaks

Like in the easy level, dispatch one general to rush Welland West and complete the event. Send allied troops to Kingsbridge and slow down the enemies.

Expert and Master

Your route: Jeasson Camp --> Welland North Flats --> Welland North --> Eastern River --> Six Peaks --> Six Peaks Plains --> Kingsbridge East Jeasson’s route: Stonemouth --> Blackdragon Nest --> Kingsbridge --> Kingsbridge North --> Western Bridge --> Six Peaks

The event at Eastern River will increase the number of allied troops, so instead of going through the Shadow Bridge, you’d better choose the Eastern River.

In this campaign, you won’t have to release too many phantoms, so when you think it is necessary or safer to release some, just do it.
